~
A little here, and a little there.
Bits of pieces that seem meaningless,
Coming together, slow but sure,
Demonstrating God’s faithfulness and love.
~
Can you make something meaningful of scraps?
Can you build a car from a junk yard?
Can you make a beautiful dress from pieces of cloth?
Or will the joinings and additions be a tell all?
~
God can do what no man can.
God can create beauty from the scraps!
Remember the lady telling our Lord,
If she could be fed with scraps from the table that would be enough?
~
So just as the disciples heaped up the leftovers,
Without throwing them away.
The scraps are sometimes there to remind us,
Of remnants of miracles He did.
~
He can give you so much more than scraps,
He can give you a feast.
But nothing is ever wasted,
Even as He gives you all that you need.
~
So gather your scraps, Look over what is left
And watch and see what He does,
Just watch what comes next.
