~
People fall off walls all the time
Sometimes they fall as they’re going to another height
Sometimes they’re carrying too much of a load
Walking the wall, with baggage in tow
~
The higher the wall, the greater the fall
The more broken pieces, the more hurt they’re feeling
~
But regardless of how the situation looks
God can fix it
He can find every scattered piece
Reassemble and reconstruct it
~
People are not fairy tales
A hope and a wish does not make them better again
It is the HOLY Spirit who makes us whole
It is He who comforts and guides our soul
~
So after your last fall, you can choose to stay down
Pretend you’re fine, not hurt at all
Or you can humbly run into His arms
Where instead of covering wounds with plasters,
Instead of treating symptoms without giving the cure,
With no fluff and no charade,
Jesus can make you whole again
~
So, you can hold your pride and act like it’s fine
Or you can be made whole, in His way, in His time
