Being in a valley
Feeling very low
Cold, dark and helpless
Feeling like there’s nowhere to go

Being on a mountain
Looking down below
At poor souls in the valley
Thinking, ‘If they only knew’
~
Rather than just take in the mountain view
And be amazed by the scene
Perhaps my heart should be for those below
To help them in their need
~
One day I too could be in a valley
I too could be in need of help
Should I not commit my heart and actions
To do what they need somebody to do for them?
~
The mountain choices may affect the rest of our lives
Don’t look on those in the valley and only criticise
Imagine it’s you and help them out
They made have made poor choices, but God is the judge
~
Do what you think God wants
