Yes, walk on water
It’s hard to do that
When your eyes are full of tears
And your mind is swaying with fears
That you’ll drown
And it’s only a matter of time
Your mind is telling you
Of how it will all end
Crashing too!

But God!
Can hold your hand
And sometimes you feel all alone
Like you’re in the middle of a highway on a busy zone
And the cars are not stopping
And the trucks are blowing horns
And there are no pedestrian walkovers
Cause you were just thrown off the bus
~
But God!
Can shelter you anywhere
Take you over safely to the other side
They respect His authority
He can tell traffic to stop
People to back-track
And tell waves, ‘Hush you’re talking too much’
~
You will never forget this experience as long as you live
Of feeling utterly and completely overwhelmed
And the next trial may be even hotter
Oh, but stay tuned for the blessings He has in store
~
Sure wish there was an easier way
For Him to refine me
And bring glory to His name
Sure wish there was
~
But He bore His cross
And so must I
Plus He’s already given me everything
Everything, I need is inside

Lord help me to realise that
And cling to You
Be ever present
Be my shield, my rear guard
Like You promised to

Be my shelter and my friend
You said You were with me to the end
And it feels like this now
So I sure need You God
