Potted plants are easily blown over
Trees stand their ground
Trust in the Lord, Jehovah
Your roots in Him are strong

Fruitful trees, by many waters
Bearing fruit in season
We are His sons and daughters
To serve Him, we’ve good reason

So strong winds blow, big waves roar
We remain grounded and stable
Since our God reigns forevermore
To take care of us, He’s well able.
