Than you had dreamt, imagined, planned
Even as you struggle to understand
Know that God loves and cares for you
And you can trust Him, His Word is true

If for you everything’s just peachy
All your life things have been easy
No need to worry, stress or fear
You live your life without a care
There are not a lot of people like you
In fact, there are very, very few

Most of us go through life with problems
Needing time, help, and money to solve them
Issues with bills, family, employment, health
Relationships, education, trying to acquire wealth
Life was never meant to be battle after battle
Full of fighting, worries, fears, and struggles

Now we have time, our priorities to rank
For some of our troubles we have ourselves to thank
Others come our way because the devil
Is doing what he does best, causing trouble
Don’t allow the enemy your life to frustrate
Trust in the Lord, He is never late

Whatever our problems and issues in the past
We have a Saviour on whom we can cast
Fears, anxieties, troubles and every care
Having the assurance that He’s always near
Rest in the Lord, in His Word believe
He is our Saviour, His blessings we receive
