This present world has worries and fear
Seems as if more trouble we continue to hear
Rest assured there’s no reason to sigh
For we are the apple of His eye

Events in this life can cause our hearts to burn
For with cares and troubles we’re all concerned
So many times when we start to cry
We recall, we’re the apple of His eye

This world seems to be going down fast
But on Him, all our troubles we need to cast
And we know that as His coming draws nigh
Still we remain the apple of His eye

Though things in our lives are not going as planned
Find comfort that we’re not at the mercy of man
For He is not a man that He should lie
He loves us so, the apple of His eye
